Как и большинство американцев я обожаю тыкву в десертах. У нас есть очень много десертов с тыквой: хлеб, пончики, печенье, мороженое, и конечно – пирог. Сегодняшний десерт с тыквой- “хлеб” с тыквой. Я написала слово хлеб с кавычками, потому что этот хлеб не настоящий хлеб (так как в нем нет дрожжей), а этот сорт хлеба мы называем быстрый хлеб. Другие виды быстрого хлеба делаются из бананов, орехов, клюквы, цуккини и тд. А я предпочитаю этот сорт хлеба с тыквой.

Bravo’s creamy Arrabiata style sauce, normally served with shrimp for them, but I’ve subbed chicken in my version because my kids like it so much. This recipe is a dead ringer for theirs. The amount of cream in it reminds me why I really shouldn’t eat out often. Still the taste is amazing and you do get to eat a lot of good for you spinach (which I believe the Bravo version does not have.) Mix up a light salad on the side and you have yourself a winning, kid friendly dinner.

I was wondering what to make for dinner and what to make with those extra bone in breasts. Then I remember the loveliness of baked cacciatore and despite swapping out some of the ingredients as mentioned above, we had this hearty meal. Oh one other oddity, I served this chicken over white rice instead of the traditional pasta because we’ve eaten pasta three times already this week and there are limits.
